Sparrow Id Help - Katy Texas

I found this sparrow on the Katy Prairie just west of Houston Texas. Any ideas? Taken Oct 12, 2011. http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/6258402583/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/6258927038/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/6258925306/

    Warbler - Katy, Texas

Common Yellowthroat it is. Fall Warblers are challenging. Thank you all for the ID.

    Warbler - Katy, Texas

I ruled out Common Yellowthroat because of the black legs. All of my reference material shows a Common Yellowthroat to have yellow legs.

    Warbler - Katy, Texas

I'm leaning towards an Orange-Crowned Warbler, but can't convince myself. Taken Oct. 12th, 2011 in Paul Rushing Park near Houston, Texas. It was hanging out with a Common Yellowthroat in the reeds near a pond. Photos were Cropped only...

    Newport Oregon Bird 2

Same location. This one is a flycatcher. Looks like wing bars and no eye ring. I need a good flycatcher book, any recommendations?

    Upper Texas Coast

I stand corrected. The large orange beaked tern is a Caspian. (Honest there were Royal Terns there.) Location is Quintana, Texas USA on the Upper Texas Coast.

I find this tern confussing mixed in a flock of Royal and Sandwich Terns. At first I thought Forster's tern but the red legs don't fit. Is it a Common Tern?

Thanks. The leg color and the all black tip of the bill were a problem for me.
