    mystery passerine - S Poland

    I know that these pictures are probably some of the worst possible, but is there any chance of ID'ing this songbird? Found last week next to a pond complex. I was thinking maybe some Sylvia sp.

    Would it be possible to say if these are "pure" both Carrion and Hooded Crows respectively? Found last week in Dresden, with a large flock of brownish Carrion Crows (hybrids?) and a couple Hooded.

    This a Nephrotoma species, but as Paul said, more photos would be needed to ID the species (although, typically in the case of Nephrotoma species, details in the colouration of certain body parts is usually more helpful than wing venation).
