A very small bird with beautiful colour

Seldom see this bird quite close and in the open like this but due to the bad weather and also the worst flood we had recently this bird came out and hang around almost everyday near my area and surprisingly it even pop into my garden.

Very nice shot and humour Doc and a credit for your daughter.The bird is very cooperative too.

Finally I got a decent capture of this male bird.

A small piece of pear with the skin intact is used as a bait to attract these insects.
