    Thank you guys for all the tips. I went with the 400 f5.6 Canon L lens, and I am not disappointed. The image quality and the AF speed is outstanding in my opinion. I also added a Kenko 1.4x and with the 1D IV body they work great. I'm now considering to add a Sigma 120-300 f2.8 - but I see...

    These guys are getting out of water every once in a while to dry their wings - it is fascinating to watch them diving, and also rock climbing, because they are absolutely amazing in both respects.

    It was amazing to see how these stilts were protecting their nest. They were chasing crows, herons and even me when I got too close. One of my favourite bird.
