Swarovski BGP Pro now for NL Pure

Looks nice. Do you happen to know which one would fit the NL Pure? The model is not on their list.

Zeiss 8x32 FL T* Owners VS Possible Up Grade To The Zeiss 8x32 Victory SF 8x32

I have a pair of Conquest HD 8x32 and their 16mm eye relief is not enough for me to see the entire FOV. If you tell me that the FL 8x32 are better, I would love to try them...

    It’s May!—has anybody bought/tried out a NL Pure 32 yet?

and 3. Should one just get a new EL32 on clearance while they are still available and significantly cheaper than a new NL32?

Zeiss 8x32 FL T* Owners VS Possible Up Grade To The Zeiss 8x32 Victory SF 8x32

No doubt, they are cute - but an eye relief of 16mm is not enough for me and not state-of-the-art anymore.

    It’s May!—has anybody bought/tried out a NL Pure 32 yet?

In post #103 we see Holger's Franz's photo of these bright spots near the exit pupil. The position of these spots must depend on the orientation of the prisms as everything else in the optics is otherwise symmetric. I assume that these spots become more or less apparent depending on the...

    Longer strap on EL 8x32

Maybe the NL strap is a bit longer. They have the same attachments but a different style. I also think the NL strap is nicer than the EL strap.

3 tripod adapters for the NL Pure

Nice photos, pm42. The Berlebach looks stable but a bit oversized for the 8x32. BTW, where did you get that silver strap loop connector?

    It’s May!—has anybody bought/tried out a NL Pure 32 yet?

Thanks for your first thoughts on the new NL 8x32. I am not surprised to hear that the focuser is better. At the same time, the difference in FOV (6% larger) and in weight (8% heavier) seems so small that I am surprised you notice them. I am curious about the ergonomics, though. I like that one...

    Swarovski EL 8x32 already discontinued?

Even before the NL 8x32 is available in stores, it looks like the EL 8x32 is already listed as discontinued in some US online stores (e.g. green EL 8x32 at B&H) and is discounted down to $1600 in another store. Great for those of us who do not want to spend the premium for the new NL 8x32, but...

    New from Wisconsin USA

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your NL 8x42. Great choice. The forehead rest is a feature I am enjoying more and more. I hiked through the Madison Arboretum with my NL 10x42 this afternoon. Maybe I will see you around here...

NL Pure condensation on eye pieces

How do you clean the eyepiece? Maybe your method leaves some residue that increases the likelihood of condensation. Maybe try diluted shampoo or alcohol...

Does the Head Rest help on the NL 8x42?

Do you wear eye glasses? It makes a huge difference for someone with glasses. Much better, steady positioning of the binocular. Less pressure on your glasses and less shake. Just my experience...

Does the Head Rest help on the NL 8x42?

I just go the headrest for my NL 10x42 and I must say that I am very excited and grateful that I gave it a try. As many have already reported, the NL is quite sensitive to the accurate position in front of your eye. This is also why the eyecups have more and smaller steps. In my experience the...
