Review by 'sjackal' on item '12x36 IS II'

I am only a very casual birdwatcher and nature enthusiast, so my review is what a layman's experience would be and certainty not an expert nor connoisseur in optics. First impression is that its light and the image stabilisation makes immediate difference to the usage experience. On comparison...

Is it possible to Wash/Restore a greasy microfibre lens cloth

My microfiber clothes stays really clean, because I use my sweat stained t-shirts (or whatever i am wearing then) to wipe my lenses. That said, I carry my microfiber cloth stuffed into plastic film canisters. More durable than ziplock bags which tear up after a while.

Help finding a Nikon Fieldscope ED 82A

There's a straight one on ebay japan now for $600 with case but no eyepiece. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXCELLENT-Nikon-Fieldscope-ED82-HD-Glass-ED-82-Spotting-Scope-705-/221900775469?hash=item33aa51202d Condition looks pretty banged up but the seller calls it 'excellent'. Honesty at its bests.

    Terra ED

I did consider trading my newly received 10X42 Terra for your year old 8X42 Terra but later felt that its not worth the trouble and money shipping for not a lot of difference, unless it is a clear cut great deal. So I decided to keep my 10 and hunt for another 8! Always good to have goals in...

Best Binoculars For Eye Glasses Wearers

It sounds good Bob, I think the Field of View is quite generous too as well as being brighter at 42? Is the Kowa 8X32 XD Prominar another viable contender? Konstantinos, the Conquest is out of my comfort level of spending. :)

Best Binoculars For Eye Glasses Wearers

Thank you all so much for the informative posts. One of the reasons I am asking is because I am thinking of a 8x bin and was hoping to buy nice while not have a lot of budget (around $400), I am not in a rush and it is something that I can wait for a long time, happy with what I have now, but...
