    Thanks Delia. Tui's galore here. Any other birds from here you're particularly interested in? I must admit, I look at birds in the States - animals too - and think we're kinda boring here.

    I second the Tyranulet call. The extended black eyeliner (horizontal line from beak through the eye and out the side) is how l was told to identify them. Cap colour difference being sex detail. (But I'm super amateur!)
