    I own a pair of the Everest 8x42s, and they are way beyond what I expected when I purchased them. Very surprising quality for the price. I'd recommend them.

    I know that the Bresser Montana line uses Hoya glass, and are assembled in China.

    How to attract birds to a new feeder

    Are you spreading seed? Whenever I add a feeder, I liberally spread several cups of seed in the area around it. Maybe it's just me, but it seems to bring them in faster, with the added benefit of attracting some species that otherwise wouldn't perch on the feeder.
