    Recent trip reports/news for the Camargue?

    Thanks Gregor - we will give some of those spots a try! Though are the main target species, we will also probably try heading north a bit to look for vultures but there seem to be several well-known spots for those.

    Hi - friend and I saw this in the Camargue recently. Distant digi-scoped picture, definitely had barring on the flanks/chest area - not seen to fly. Anyone got a view whether this is STE or HB? Mix of dark/light wings at rest seems to fit both species. Thanks, Will

    Lesser Flamingo, Camargue

    Hi, Just returned from the Camargue and spotted in amongst the flocks of Greater Flamingos a Lesser. Just wondered what the accepted status of these is considered to be? Do people tend to count them on their WP lists? Cheers Will
