Identification

Distribution

South America: found only in eastern Brazil (interior of Minas Gerais and Bahia).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Described 1997. Sometimes considered a subspecies of Pectoral Sparrow.

Habitat

Caatinga.
