Identification
Distribution
Western Africa: found in the highlands of western Cameroon and eastern Nigeria.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This species was formerly placed in the genus Andropadus.
Habitat
Forest edge, clearings and scrubby thickets.
Status
Classified as Near Threatened in the 2007 IUCN Red List because forest within its range is threatened (Birdlife 2007).
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes fruit, seeds and insects.
