Distribution
South America: found in south-central Brazil (Minas Gerais to São Paulo) and adjacent north-eastern Bolivia.
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in genus Geobates
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Open areas and dry savanna.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of arthropods such as mantids and spiders. They forage both singly and in pairs.
