Western Africa: Mauritania, Senegal, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Chad
Eastern Africa: found only in Sudan

Habitat

Arid areas with some grass and shrubs.

Crepuscular. They often hawk over water for moths and also take other insects, grasshoppers beetles etc.
