Genus: Buarremon

Description

Members are also often called Brush-Finches.

Taxonomy

Buarremon would be a genus in the family Passerellidae. Members of the genus Buarremon was for a while included in Atlapetes before being brought back to Buarremon. The SACC has passed a proposal to merge this genus into Arremon1 which is how it is treated by the Opus.
