Genus: Riccordia
Description
Several species of Emerald hummingbirds.
Taxonomy
Riccordia is a genus in the family Trochilidae.
These species were formerly included in genera Chlorostilbon and Cyanophaia.
Note: Riccordia bracei elegans was described from a single specimen collected in 1860. However, experts currently are not sure whether this is a full species, subspecies, or hybrid, and it is therefore not included in the subspecies list of any species anymore.
