Genus: Sapayoa

Description

This genus contains only one species, the Sapayoa from South America.
The flat, broad bill is typical for this species.

Taxonomy

Sapayoa is a genus in the family Sapayoidae.
It was formerly placed in the family Pipridae or the family Eurylaimidae.
