Distribution
Central Angola to southeast Democratic Republic of the Congo and western Zambia.
Taxonomy
Eastern Miombo Sunbird and Western Miombo Sunbird have until recently been considered one species, Miombo Double-collared Sunbird. The taxon included here was previously known under the name pintoi.
This is a monotypic species[1].
