Subspecies

Cossypha albicapillus has three subspecies:^[1]

• C. a. albicapillus

• Senegal to Guinea

• C. a. giffardi

• Ghana to Nigeria, southern Chad and northern Cameroon

• C. a. omoensis

• Southeastern South Sudan and southwestern Ethiopia

Habitat

Dry savanna and moist shrubland.
