Cyanerpes nitidus

Identification

Short bill and with pink to orange legs. The male has a large black bib.

Distribution

Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru; rare and local in Suriname and French Guiana1.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species2.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
