Identification
14.5 cm. Blue-grey upperparts, paler eyebrows, and whitish underparts, grey tail is tipped with white black bill and feet, dark brown eyes. Birds from the northern part of its range are smaller and darker grey in colour. Juveniles are brownish.
Distribution
Southwest of Western Australia.

Habitat
Open forests near rivers; coastal scrub.
Behaviour
The cup shaped nest is made of dry grass, bark and spider webs. 2 pale olive- to blue-green eggs, often splotched are laid and are incubated for 16 or 17 days, with young leaving the nest two weeks after hatching.
