  • Shining dark green upperparts and sides

  • Red, gold and blue spots on belly, flanks and undertail

Distribution

South America: found only on the western slope of Western Andes of Colombia (Cauca).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Wet forest.

Behaviour

The diet includes nectar.
