Genus: Eucometis
Description
This genus contains a single species, the Gray-headed Tanager.
Taxonomy
Eucometis is a monotypic genus in the family Thraupidae.
This genus and Trichothraupis are sister-taxa.
The species is divided in two groups. Further study is needed for a clearer taxonomic image.
