80 km northwest of Berlin on direction of Berlin to Hamburg is located floodplain Elbtalauen of federal country Brandenburg. It is located between towns Havelberg and Wittenberge. There is also floodpalin Elbtalauen in federal countries Mecklenburg and Sachsen Anhalt.

Cycling tour on 16.07.2005 Bad Wilsnack - Ruehstaedt - Havelberg - lake Guelper See - Paray - Hohenauen - Rathenow ( 23 - 24 centigrad, mostly cloudy, wind 3 - 4 )
