Identification

Distribution

Endemic to the Lesser Sundas (Sumbawa, Komodo, Flores and Paloe) in Indonesia.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.

It was formerly included as a subspecies in Changeable Hawk-Eagle and placed in the genus Spizaetus.
