Identification

Red bill and forehead, blue crown and yellow band on its wing.

Distribution

South-central/eastern Australia.

SE Queensland to Victoria, Tasmania and Eyre Pen., S Australia

Behaviour

The nest is usually built in a hollow limb of a tree. 2 white eggs are laid.
