- Shining dark green upperparts
- Golden green rump and upper tail coverts
Distribution
North-western South America: found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru.

Habitat
Gardens and open areas.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of nectar. They are very defensive of "their" flowers.
