Breeds in western Himalayas (Pakistan to Kashmir and Bhutan); winters to India

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

This is one of six species that used to be considered one under the name of Golden-spectacled Warbler. After the split, the other five are Martens's Warbler, Grey-crowned Warbler, Alström's Warbler, Whistler's Warbler, and Bianchi's Warbler.

Tropical forest.

Diet

Their diet consists mostly of insects, generally taken during short flights, in the under storey
