• Olive-green upperparts
• Grey crown and nape
• Whitish supraloral stripe
• Faint eye-ring

Distribution

South America: found in Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil

Taxonomy

Subspecies

• T. p. poliocephalus:

• South-eastern Colombia to eastern Peru, southern Venezuela and western Amazonian Brazil

• T. p. klagesi:

• Tropical eastern Venezuela (northern Amazonas to Delta Amacuro)

• T. p. sclateri:

• Tropical Guianas, Amazonian and eastern Brazil and north-western Bolivia

Habitat

Humid forest and forest edges.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of insects, small fruits and berries.

Breeding

Their nest is a suspended bag, placed about 2-25 m from the ground.
