South America: found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, .

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies[1]:

  • O. b. branickii:
  • O. b. minor:
  • Western Andes of southern Colombia and extreme northern Ecuador

Habitat

Humid forests generally between 1400–2200 m.

Behaviour

Diet

There is little information, but are know to glean invertebrates high in the canopy, often in mixed flocks.
