Rhynchotus maculicollis

Identification

Distribution

Found in the Andes from northwest Argentina to northwest Bolivia.

Habitat

Found above cloud forest in humid grassland.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].
Has been regarded as subspecies of Red-winged Tinamou in the past.
