Identification

  • Brown grey and white face
  • Small spots on back
  • Black tail
  • Pink legs

Distribution

Colombia, Venezuela and the Guianas3 to Brazil and Bolivia.

Taxonomy

Clements1 considers this a monotypic species, while others (Restall3, H&M2?) recognize both punctulatus and subochraceus.

The scientific name has previously (erroneously) been spelt Hylophylax punctulata.
