Identification

Distribution

Asia: found from Siberia to China and northern Burma.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

Clements accepts three subspecies[1]:

  • L. t. shanensis from Burma (wintering in Thailand)
  • L. t. davidi from Siberia to Amurland and Manchuria (N China)
  • L. t. suschkini in the Altai Mountains and E to NE Baikal

Formerly included in Spotted Bush Warbler and in the genus Bradypterus

Habitat

Boreal forests.
