Identification

14cm

  • Rufous edges to the greater coverts and tertials
  • Pale lower mandible
  • Pinky/flesh coloured legs and feet

Asian Brown Flycatcher

Distribution

Asia: found in north-eastern India to southern China and northern Vietnam; winters to Sri Lanka.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Dense thickets in evergreen forest.
