Immature is similar to female

Distribution

Endemic to southern Mexico (Sierra de Miahuatlán of Oaxaca).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species^[1].

Habitat

Highland forests.

Status

Classified as Endangered in the 2008 IUCN Red List².
