Distribution

Asia: Eastern India, Bangladesh
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, northern Malay Peninsula.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Coastal mangrove swamps.
