Prinia atrogularis

Distribution

From eastern Nepal east to Bhutan, northeast India, Bangladesh, Burma and southern China.

Taxonomy

Formerly considered conspecific with Hill Prinia.

Subspecies^[1]

Two subspecies recognized:

• P. a. atrogularis:

• Eastern Nepal to Sikkim, Bhutan, south-eastern Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh

• P. a. khasiana:

• North-eastern India (Assam) to Bangladesh, western Myanmar and southern China
