Distribution
High mountains of Yemen.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
High-altitude shrubland and mountains; scree slopes with dense cover of short grass and dwarf shrubs, cliff-faces and field terrace walls.
Behaviour
Shy and mainly ground dwelling.
Diet
Their diet consists of insects and seeds, but there is little detail known.
Breeding
Again little detail available. A cupt nest is constructed from twigs, leaves and stems.
