Southeast Asia: Indochina and Myanmar

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies^[1]:

• P. s. jerdoni:

• Mountains of eastern Afghanistan to northern India (Kashmir and Kumaon)

• P. s. strophiata:

• Himalayas of Nepal to south-eastern Tibet, south-western China and northern Burma

Habitat

Mixed conifer forests and Upland scrublands.
