Two species from the highlands of Costa Rica and Panama.
Both are medium-sized, dark birds with conspicuous yellow thighs.

[edit] Taxonomy

Pselliophorus is a genus in the family Passerellidae.
The two species are sometimes considered conspecific and are also included in the genus Atlapetes.
