Identification

32-34 cm (12-13¾ in)

  • White head, neck and upper breast
  • Black back and upperwing gradually becoming lighter towards a grey rump
  • Black tail with broad grey terminal band
  • Grey underparts
  • White head and neck

Distribution

Bali to Lesser Sunda Islands.

Taxonomy

Black-banded Fruit Dove was formerly included as a subspecies.
