- Deep cobalt blue upperparts
- Purple underparts
Distribution
South America: found in east Colombia to southern Venezuela, Guianas, northern and eastern Amazonian Brazil.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Normally inhabits the canopy of humid forests at heights around 800 m.
Behaviour
Diet
There is little confirmed information, but it is known that they eat fruits. They are usually seen in the early morning perched high near fruiting trees.
