Asia: found in China, Tibet
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand

Taxonomy

Subspecies[1]

There are 2 subspecies:

  • P. x. xanthorrhous :
  • P. x. andersoni:
  • Southern China (Sichuan to northern Guangdong and north-western Fujian)

Habitat

Secondary growth, scrub and grass up to 2,290m.
