Identification

- Olive-brown overall plumage

Distribution
Endemic to the Sula Islands (Taliabu, Seho, Mangole and Sanana). South East Asia: Indonesia: Greater Sundas: Sulawesi.
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in genus Rhinomyias.
Banggai Jungle Flycatcher and Sula Jungle Flycatcher were formerly together as one species, Henna-tailed Jungle Flycatcher but these are deeply divergent (both phenotypically and vocally: reference [4]).
Subspecies
This is a monotypic species [1].
Habitat
On the whole they can be found in undisturbed lowland primary, secondary and degraded forests.
Behaviour
Diet
It is presumed their diet consists of invertebrates. They forage alone, in pairs and small groups.
