Identification

- Dark olive upperparts
- Dark greyish-olive mask, crown and nape
- Bright yellow supercilium
Distribution
South America: found from extreme southeastern Peru to northern Argentina, eastern and southern Brazil as well as Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Close to water in savannas and montane forests and forest edges, restinga; semi-open and shrubby areas, marshy and gallery woodland.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects.
