Identification
15·5 cm
It is olive-green with rufescent wings and tail and has a pale eye-ring.
Distribution
Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Humid forest and mature woodland at heights around 1200 m.
Behaviour
More often heard than seen since it tends to skulk low down in the undergrowth.
Diet
There is not a lot of information available, but they are thought to eat insects and caterpillars.
