Pheugopedius spadix

Thryothorus spadix

Identification

Distribution

Colombia and Panama.

Taxonomy

This species was split from Black-throated Wren.

Two subspecies are recognized:

  • P .s. spadix
  • P .s. xerampelinus

Was formerly placed in genus Thryothorus with all other species of the genus Pheugopedius.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.
