Genus: Spelaeornis
Description
This genus contains nine Wren Babblers from SE-Asia. These are tiny members of the Babbler family with:
- Rounded tail with only ten feathers
- Soft full plumage
- Narrow short bill with a downward-sloping culmen
- Rather long delicate toes
- Loud mechanical song
Taxonomy
Spelaeornis is a genus in the Family Timaliidae.
Spotted Elachura was formerly included in this genus.
