Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Indonesia and the Philippines.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are 3 subspecies[1]:
- T. c. unirufa:
- Northern Philippines (Luzon to Negros)
- T. c. cinnamomea:
- Southern Philippines (Mindanao, Basilan and islands in Sulu Archaepelago)
- T. c. talautensis:
- Talaud Islands (Karakelong, Salebabu and Kaburuang)
Habitat
Lowland and hill forests below 1200m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet is thought to consists of insects, foraged up to 20m in the understorey.
