Pale-tailed Barbthroat differ in tail pattern.

Distribution

North-eastern Brazil and French Guiana.

Taxonomy

Split from Pale-tailed Barbthroat.

Threnetes niger has two subspecies:[1]

  • T. n. loehkeni
  • North-eastern Brazil north of the Amazon
  • T. n. niger
  • French Guiana and adjacent Brazil
