Thripophaga macroura

Identification

18cm. Rufous brown upperparts streaked buff on crown and back, rufous chestnut wings, bright cinnamon tail, orange rufous chin patch, dull brown underparts streaked white.

Distribution

Locally in eastern Brazil (southern Bahia to Espírito Santo and northern Rio de Janeiro)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1]

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.
